The Youth Investors Association (YIA) is an esteemed non-governmental organization dedicated to the holistic development of Tanzania’s youth, focusing on empowering them through various meaningful avenues.
Our core mission is to equip young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s dynamic world. We offer comprehensive guidance and support in areas such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, investments, talents, innovations, opportunity cultivation, and networking. YIA recognizes that genuine empowerment encompasses more than just material wealth.
Our organization actively engages youth through a spectrum of interactive platforms, including seminars, exhibitions, mentorship programs, and numerous other engaging initiatives. These channels serve as vehicles for unleashing the full potential of Tanzania’s youth, enabling them to pursue their aspirations and make valuable contributions to society.

Our Founder's Note
Hello, I am Joseph Mramba, the founder of YIA, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our transformative journey.
Our story began in 2020 during my time at Crown Secondary School, where I had the privilege of working alongside dedicated students and teachers.
YIA’s inception was driven by a pressing concern: the lack of financial literacy among students who were spending their money unwisely. This inspired us to launch YIA, with a clear mission—to teach young students the importance of personal finance.
Since then, we’ve made a significant impact by educating over 700 young people. Our programs cover financial literacy, leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation. Moreover, we’ve expanded our horizons, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and partnering with key stakeholders in Tanzania and beyond.
